A Christmas Tale in Pictures
10:23 p.m. Friday, Dec. 24, 2004

well Merry Christmas eve to all of you out there in internet land. this computer's keyboard is weird and bouncy. anywho! i thought i'd share with you a fun little christmas story of my own, pictures included. ;) so! before we get to that, i want to say how much i love you and for you to have a safe and happy holiday season. with that out of the way (ha) we begin!!

We open our tale with the wish of children big and small, old and young, for a white christmas. Your humble narrator was no different and so, to pass the time, and feel creative, she decided to summon the snow gods via paper snowflakes. So little stacey spent 3 hours (and watching the IU bball game [heartbreaking]) cutting out snowflakes and hanging them in between the dining room and computer room. Here they are, they are very cool:

After this, everyone went to bed and when we all awoke the next day, some snow had fallen. Here are some pictures of said snow:

The view from outside the computer room window:

My car!!"

So reba decides to be a great daughter/sister and voluteers to shovel!!

"ahhhh," she says, "shoveling snow is hard work!"

And while this isn't the walkway she shoveled, we will pretend it is and look at the great work "reba" did!!!

The day progresses as usual and christmas eve festivities are upon us!

Stacey is ready to go!

James Whitcomb Riley is pumped for yuletide cheer as well:

amazing the similarities in the hat...er..hats..

Baby David is thrilled to get Spode china...or maybe he's just thrilled to see wrapping paper fall to the ground. However, darcy is pumped and if you check out the backround of that picture a bit, baby bennie just got an AWESOME colts onesie. (spelling/!?)

Onto more important things...like fisher-price, huh david?

A beautiful picture of the girls and myself as we chat about ...you know who..

Reba and Chris are pretty pumped about santa's visit!!

And finally, what demented christmas story would it be without someone sitting on a "santa"'s lap? :)

All my love,
Stacey
