Pet peeve: When people do not return phone calls...esp. when a message has been left.

on a side note, there was a book i read often as a child called Black Unicorn. in this, a witch (of sorts) was lost in the desert chasing after a black unicorn. she had a familiar. He was a "pet peeve." that was his name...peeve. hahahhaha. it didn't make tons of sense to me as a kid... ;)

oh, and i didn't just realize this now...but it's the first time i've thought about it in a long long time.
